ADE is organized by The Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation and offers a full program of daytime conferences at ADE Pro, ADE Tech, HDE, ADE University, ADE Next, ADE Beamlab and ADE Green, alongside the nighttime ADE Festival which features 450 events and 2,200 artists over five days in 115 clubs and venues. The shows attract over 350,000 people from all over the world to the city, making Amsterdam one of the busiest and most inspiring clubbing cities in the world.
Members of the Symphonic Distribution team will be attending Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), Oct. 17-20!
Our CEO, Jorge Brea, will be a part of the “Understanding the US Electronic Market After EDM” panel on Friday, Oct. 20.
Now that the EDM-driven US electronic music revolution has run its course, ADE examines what its legacy is and how it has changed the musical preferences of the country’s music lovers. Whatever you think about EDM, it changed tastes and attitudes to electronic acts forever in the US as well as transforming the way that live events look and who they attract. But what kind of musical culture has it left behind? Where are the concentrations of ravers in this vast country and what musical hybrids have been born from the collision of electronica, rock, latino sounds and hip hop? Patrick Ferrell of A2IM (American Association of Independent Music) alongside a panel of distributors, label reps and digital platforms will be providing a road map of the US’ electronic hot spots.
